Rice for low-carb cuisine is made by most manufacturers from the same dough as pasta, just shaped differently. When we tried the CIAO carb rice for the first time, we were very pleasantly surprised, because it doesn't smell and taste like noodles, but really like rice. With normal cooking time, they will be nice and fluffy. If you make a risotto, the cooking time increases by 2-3 minutes and the rice grains become wonderfully sticky.
CIAO-Carb rice has a reduced carbohydrate content compared to regular rice (75% less carbohydrates).
